The residents of Ravenna are proud and supportive of their community's school and its athletic teams. As well they should be! The girls volleyball team won
the State C-2 championship in 2008 and the boys' basketball team has won seven C-2 State championships!
The community holds a three day long celebration in June called "ANNEVAR". Thursday kicks off the celebration with a prince/princess contest and later a teen
dance with a pie baking contest and quilt show on Friday. Sand volleyball, antique tractor parade, an ice cream social and car show are just a few of the activities
that will be taking place over the weekend.

Just outside of Ravenna to the East is a Buffalo County Park. There is a small lake for fishing and
camping areas. As you drive on Nebraska Highway 2, look for the Ravenna sign as well as a Buffalo
County Park sign and turn in. Drive in about 1/4 of a mile and you will be at the park. Contact the Ravenna
