Ansley, Nebraska is located in Custer County, Nebraska and has a population of around 440 people. 2018 will see the 131st Muddy Creek Celebration taking place the last weekend of June. This year's theme is Show Your Team Spirit!.

Ansley Park and Lake are located along Nebraska Highway 2 and offers fishing, camping with campsites reserved through the City Clerk's office at telephone number (308) 935-1467. There is a town swimming pool and food available at the Ansley Diner, 607 Main Street and at KO's Bar and Grill on the western end of town.


Near Comstock, Nebraska, not too far from Ansley, is an original "soddie", a sod house built by William Dowse for his wife and later five sons. The Dowse House was continually occupied until 1959. After the soddie was abandoned for many years, it was restored and opened for public viewing in 1982. The Dowse House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
